ConneX

ConneX is designed to identify students with great potential, but few advantages, based on their educational and economic backgrounds.

ConneX offers a variety of resources to encourage students to consider a career in medicine through programs offered by the Northwest Community Action Center an affiliate of the Yakima Valley Farm Worker’s Clinic.

What is ConneX?

ConneX is a health care opportunity program for middle school, high school and college students. The program is designed to help students succeed in health care fields.

Participant Opportunities:

  • Individual academic counseling
  • Individual career counseling
  • 12 - week Saturday Academies
  • 6 - week Summer Program
  • University Field Trips
  • 1 - week Clinical Placement
