Energy Assistance Program

Please call beginning of November for appointment information If you live in Parker, Brownstown, WhiteSwan, Wapato, Harrah, Toppenish, Buena, Zillah, Granger, Outlook, Sunnyside, Mabton and Grandview you must call (509) 865-4151 or 865-7630 for an appointment.

The EAP is designed to assist low-income households with their winter heating. EAP will serve an average of 1800 households depending on funding. To be eligible the family must first meet the federal income poverty guidelines of 125% or below. Benefit amount will be based on family size, income and usage history. Services are available to households on a first come, first service basis. For more information contact Kim Perkins at (509) 865-2935 Ext. 215

Documentation Needed

  1. Social Security’s for all household members
  2. Household verification such as rent receipt, contract, deed.
  3. Income for the past 3 months for everyone 18 years and older
  4. Current heating bill and 12 month history.
