Academic Youth Employment Program

The Academic Youth Employment Program serves youth (14 years to 21 years old) who would benefit from assistance to reach their educational and employment goals. Services include tutoring, credit make-up, GED obtainment, job skill development and training.

The Academic Youth Employment Program coordinates their services with the eight lower valley school districts to serve both in and out of school youth in the lower Yakima Valley.

Eligibility requirements to participate:

  • Reside in lower Yakima Valley
  • Have a valid social security card
  • Picture ID
  • Income for the past 6 months
  • Program defined barrier to employment

You must be eligible to work in the United States and possess the required documentation to participate in the Academic Youth Employment Program.
